This is one of my most memorable hikes with Uncle & the ONE & ONLY snow overnight I’ve done. It was the fearsome five; Uncle Jack, Cousin Kim & Becky, Patti & Jared. The 1st cousins once removed were excited & jolly; having a great time together & always getting ahead of the 3 adults. Cousin Kim was worried about avalanches and the direction we were headed. And I was just cold 🥶 It was a memorable night with the crackling fire 🔥 Uncle & all of us helped to build. We tried to dry our wet socks (partially) and had a great time of stories & songs. When we awoke the following morning, the fire had burned & melted a nearly 3 ft. hole in the snow! Thanks for the memories ♥️
